What Can I Drive With a LGV C1 Licence?
The LGV C1 driving licence allows you to drive a rigid vehicle up to 7.5 tonnes and a trailer up to 750 kg. So, if you obtain a C1 driving licence then you can drive a medium-size vehicle over 3,500 kg up to 7,500 kg.
The C1 licence is typically required for medium size delivery drivers, scaffolders, paramedic ambulance drivers, large camper vans and medium size horsebox vehicles.
What is Driver CPC?
The Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) is a qualification for professional drivers of lorries over 3.5 tonnes who must usually obtain a Driver CPC in addition to a vocational driving licence to be a paid professional LGV driver.
There are some exemptions to the driver CPC qualification such as ambulance drivers or when driving a C1 vehicle for private use.

Private with No Experience (16 hours)
16 hours of one to one tuition, VAT, module 1 theory test fees and online module 1 theory training package and the DVSA module 3a & 3b practical test fees = £1,268.00
Private with Experience (12 hours)
12 hours of one to one tuition, VAT, module 1 theory test fees and online module 1 theory training package and the DVSA module 3a & 3b practical test fees = £1,004.00
Professional with No Experience (Initial DCPC + 16 hours)
16 hours of one to one tuition, VAT, module 1 theory test fees and online module 1 theory training package and the DVSA module 3a & 3b practical test fees, plus the mod 2 & 4 initial cpc package = £1,576.00
Professional with Experience (Initial DCPC + 12 hours)
12 hours of one to one tuition, VAT, module 1 theory test fees and online module 1 theory training package and the DVSA module 3a & 3b practical test fees, plus the mod 2 & 4 initial cpc package = £1,312.00
