What Can I Drive With a LGV C Licence?
A category C license allows drivers to drive vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, but must not exceed 32 tonnes. LGV Category C (or HGV Class 2 as they are otherwise known) licenses typically cover a vehicle with a cab and fixed cargo body permanently together.
What is Driver CPC?
The Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC) is a qualification for professional drivers of lorries over 3.5 tonnes who must usually obtain a Driver CPC in addition to a vocational driving licence to be a paid professional LGV driver.

20 hours of one to one tuition, VAT, module 1 theory test fees and online module 1 theory training package, DVSA module 3a & 3b practical test fees, plus 35hrs Periodic DCPC = £2,132.00
Before Jan 97 & Experienced (DCPC Periodic + 16 hours)
